Lex Vita Babenberg & Institutions, old Law and Senate of Wisdom

The unnamed treaty between Charles the Great (Charlemagne) and the family of Babenberg from 764 A.D., served Charles with the support of the Babenberg’s to achieve his goals to become first king and later emperor – being revered to today as the “Father of Europe”. From this the “Carl’s Council” was stablished in 765 A.D. and this very council is considered to be the first impetus for the “Lex Vita Babenberg”. In 814 A.D. this council became a member of the double family and imperial council to soley serve the interests of the family of Babenberg.

The “Carl’s Document”, dating from 801 A.D. as “Renovatio Imperii Carolus et Henrici” is the very contractual founding document for the “Lex Vita Babenberg” ad in which it was so established to act independently.

The “Lex Vita Babenberg” became the upheld law for the entire dynasty in 802 A.D. It so serves as the legal basis for all activities of the dynasty and has long been incorporated to serve as form of constitution. Originally it served as a means to address all internal and external interests of the dynasty, especially it was designed to regulate the relationship of the dynasty to emperors and the pope and did also serve as the very instrument to unify all institutions.

The original institutions of the dynasty were the so-called “Bee-Throne” which was renamed as “Lion-Throne”, starting during the 6th century. It so served the “Lion’s-Council” that exclusively served the heads of all leaders of their individual line and was admitted in 802 A.D. into the “Lex Vita Babenberg”, which governs all affairs until this very day.

The “Bee-Throne” is the oldest body of the entire dynasty under the guardianship of the patriarch of the dynasty and regulates all control and security internally and externally. In 1949 it was constituted for it to serve as the “Council of Ratification and Interests” and has been the governing council for the “Carl’s Council” as a parliament. The “Carl’s Council” has remained to be the guardian of the “Lex Vita Babenberg” up until this day. These laws serve as immutable and cannot be manipulated unless so done by direct decisions or estates!

The “Council of Wisdom” is an advisory body to serve all members who are automatically appointed to office, once of proper age. It is directly affiliated with the “Carl’s Council”.
